Job Description
We are a global fixed-income investment firm seeking a SAS Lead Developer to join our IT Risk Management organization. In this role, you will be responsible for developing highly optimized software and leading SAS development projects throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 7+ years of solid SAS programming experience
- 3+ years of programming experience with C/C++, Java, or other object-oriented programming languages
- Experience designing and developing large-scale systems or calculation-intensive processes
- Experience with source code control systems such as CVS, subversion, or git
- Familiar with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodology
- Strong leadership skills with prior experience in leadership or supervisory capacity
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, results oriented, and capable of independent and critical thinking and problem solving
