Job Description
Contribute to multidisciplinary teams with own scientific expertise to achieve corporate and customer goals of challenging drug discovery projects, including research project planning and execution, protein production workflow optimization, and result presentation.
Requirements
- PhD in protein biochemistry or related field
- Strong acquaintance with rational construct design, protein expression, chromatographic purification techniques, purification process optimization, and protein characterization methods
- Profound knowledge in structural biology (X-ray or Cryo-EM)
- Hands-on mentality with a problem-solving mindset and attention to details
- Independent, service-oriented way of working, with an outstanding team spirit and excellent organization and communication skills
- Experience with purification, reconstitution, and characterization of multi-subunit protein and/or protein-nucleic acid complexes
- Background in RNA production and characterization (optional)
