Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

PsiQuantum is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to design complex optomechanical and optoelectronic packages. The role involves working with cross-functional teams and applying Design for Manufacturability principles.

Requirements

• Ownership of designs from prototype to production
• Expertise in Design for Manufacturability, Design for Assembly, and GD&T
• Experience with tolerance analysis methods, fixture design, and test set-up design
• Ability to execute basic structural and thermal analyses
• Experience with PDM / Arena
• Master's Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline
• 2-5 years of experience in optomechanical design and/or optoelectronic packaging
