We're looking for an eCommerce Product Owner to optimize and enhance the conversion rates and customer retention strategies for an ecommerce business. The ideal candidate will have experience in ecommerce conversion rate optimization, customer retention, or digital marketing roles, and will be able to work closely with the marketing and sales teams to analyze customer behavior and develop strategies to retain and nurture customers throughout their lifecycle.
Requirements
- Own the product backlog and roadmap, translating business goals into prioritized requirements and clear user stories
- Improve conversion through funnel analysis, user testing, and continuous checkout/UX optimization to reduce friction and abandonment
- Drive customer retention and CLV via personalization, loyalty initiatives, targeted promotions, and post-purchase engagement
- Track performance with analytics/BI, reporting key KPIs and insights to stakeholders to steer data-driven decisions
- Map the customer journey to identify pain points and optimize key touchpoints from purchase to repeat buy
- Partner cross-functionally (Marketing, UX, Engineering, Ops, Support) to execute conversion and retention improvements end-to-end
- Monitor industry trends and competitors to benchmark performance and identify new opportunities
- Continuously optimize the full purchase and post-purchase funnel (order success, delivery updates, returns/cancellations, support), improving satisfaction and repeat purchases
