Assistant Manager / Manager, Programmes, MHC

The Malay Heritage Centre seeks an Assistant Manager/Manager, Programmes to conceptualize, plan, and implement diverse programming initiatives across physical and digital platforms. The role involves developing collaborative programmes to cater to different groups of audiences, building rapport with the community, and fostering strategic partnerships.

Requirements

• Background in Event Management, Arts, Humanities, Communications or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in heritage-related projects, cultural programming, and/or events management
• Experience in digital content creation and online programme delivery is advantageous
• Strong passion and interest in both local and Malay history, culture, and heritage
• Resourceful team player with strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Meticulous attention to detail with proven ability to multi-task effectively
• Demonstrated project management capabilities and problem-solving skills
• Preferably fluent in English and Malay
