Manager/Senior Manager, Interpretation & Access, Heritage Institutions

The National Heritage Board (NHB) is responsible for preserving and promoting Singapore’s cultural heritage. The role focuses on producing well-grounded research, working closely with community and industry partners, and ensuring research outcomes are translated into usable institutional outputs.

Requirements

• Background in heritage studies, history, anthropology, cultural studies, or a related field
• Relevant experience in research, cultural studies, heritage documentation, or a related field (Preferably at least 3 years of relevant experience is preferred)
• Strong knowledge of archival research, oral history methods, and qualitative research techniques, particularly in intangible cultural heritage and community-driven research
• Good communication and writing skills, capable of producing clear, concise research reports and contributing to public-facing content
