A secure healthcare service is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the team within a learning disability ward. The role is full-time and involves providing expert clinical care, managing complex cases, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• CCT or CESR in Psychiatry of Learning Disability
• Approved Clinician status
• Strong leadership abilities and a compassionate, patient-centred approach
• Experience managing complex clinical presentations in this population
• Understanding of recovery-focused care, positive risk-taking, and appropriate use of restrictive practices
