Job Description
Pure Power is seeking a highly skilled Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Design Engineer to lead the electrical design and integration of BESS projects for commercial, industrial, utility-scale, and microgrid systems. The role involves hands-on technical design, cross-functional collaboration, and guidance on system development, interconnection, and compliance. This is an individual contributor position ideal for a strong technical background and experience in BESS design.
Requirements
- Lead the electrical design of BESS projects, including one-line diagrams, system layout, load flow, and control schematics.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards.
- Model system behavior for performance, lifecycle, and resiliency scenarios.
- Support interconnection efforts by developing utility-compliant designs.
