Staff Research Scientist (Superconducting Qubits)

The role involves researching and implementing methods for superconducting qubits, collaborating with engineering and product teams, and translating research into production-level software. Requirements

• Advanced degree in Physics, Engineering, or a closely related discipline (PhD preferred)
• At least 3-5 years of experience conducting research in a relevant field
• Comprehensive understanding of superconducting quantum computing
• Expertise in running experiments on superconducting qubits, with experience in system tune-up, characterization
• Familiarity with statistical learning methods, including machine learning algorithms, optimization techniques, model selection and validation
• Firm grasp of software development best practices, and experience in developing software modules for qubit measurement and control (Python, C++, Rust)
