Job Description
Quad Lock is seeking a Senior Product Engineer for a 12-month fixed-term contract role. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality engineering solutions for commercial and market-driven products. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing multiple projects, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in a similar role
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Strong experience in product development, ideally in consumer hardware or accessories
- Advanced proficiency in CAD (e.g., SolidWorks or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of injection moulding, metals, plastics, elastomers, and assembly processes
- Proven experience managing products from concept to mass production
- Strong understanding of DFM, DFA, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up analysis
- Experience working with offshore manufacturers (Asia experience highly regarded)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capability
