Job Description
Field Supervisor – Miscellaneous Metals Installation role involves leading installation crews and managing daily job site operations, ensuring safe and quality work.
Requirements
- Supervise and direct a field crew performing installation of stairs, railings, and other miscellaneous metal structures
- Coordinate daily work activities with the General Contractor and other trades on site
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure proper layout and accurate installation
- Plan and organize labor, materials, and equipment to maintain efficient workflow
- Confirm crew certifications and enforce all job site safety requirements
- Complete daily reports, including field logs and vehicle inspections
- Oversee maintenance and proper use of tools, equipment, and company vehicles
- Act as the on-site safety lead, ensuring compliance with PPE requirements and project-specific safety plans
- Conduct and document toolbox talks and reinforce safe work practices
