Corporate Counsel

QuantumScape is seeking a Corporate Counsel to support the company's public company obligations and commercial and technology transactions. The ideal candidate will have a J.D. degree, state bar membership, and 2-5 years of relevant experience at a premier law firm, with exposure to corporate/securities or commercial transactions work.

Requirements

• Support senior counsel with SEC reporting and compliance
• Assist with board and committee governance
• Help maintain corporate records and other essential corporate housekeeping
• Conduct legal research and drafting in support of corporate governance, securities law, and compliance initiatives
• Support the review, drafting, and negotiation of commercial agreements
• Partner with internal teams to support contract execution and ongoing compliance
• Contribute to adjacent areas such as intellectual property, regulatory compliance, employment matters, litigation support, risk management, policy development, and internal training initiatives
