Job Description
Peak Energy is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join their growing team, supporting a broad range of commercial, operational, corporate, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership California state bar
- 5+ years of legal experience with a combination of law firm and/or in-house experience preferred
- Experience independently drafting, negotiating, and advising stakeholders through transaction lifecycles
- Strong understanding of corporate law, commercial contracting in the energy industry, and general business operations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across technical and non-technical teams
