Job Description
Cypress Creek Renewables is seeking a Corporate Counsel to provide primary legal support on project finance and M&A transactions, as well as other contract negotiations. The individual will be responsible for structuring, executing, and closing complex transactions, and will work closely with the company's finance and development teams.
Requirements
- J.D. from accredited law school and current license to practice
- Minimum 5 years of experience with a law firm or in-house legal department
- Experience negotiating project finance and M&A transactions in the renewable energy industry
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and business-oriented approach to resolving legal issues
- Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to analyze complex issues and advise internal business partners appropriately
