Senior Software Engineer – Data Platform

Qube Research & Technologies is a global quantitative and systematic investment manager looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their Data Engineering team.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Expertise in programming, system design, and architecture
• Proficiency in Python, experience with Rust is a strong plus
• Familiarity with modern data ecosystems, including data lakes and data lakehouses (e.g. Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake, Snowflake)
• Familiarity with columnar dataframes, data governance, lineage and metadata
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
• Experience with cloud platforms, with a preference for AWS
• Fluent English
