Queensland Rail is seeking a People Adviser to join their HR Central People Services team. The role involves providing expert advice and support to employees on people and culture matters, including policy and enterprise agreement interpretation, salary and entitlements, recruitment and onboarding, performance management, absenteeism, and general people management.
Requirements
- Relevant experience as a People Adviser or similar role.
- Proven experience advising employees at all levels with HR matters, such as policy and enterprise interpretation, employment legislation, performance management, absenteeism, and employee complaints/grievances, harassment/bullying.
- Knowledgeable of employment legislation (e.g., Fair Works)
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and written skills.
- Demonstrate high attention to detail.
- Strong time management and organisational skills – ability to balance multiple priorities and a high volume of time-sensitive matters.
- Proactive problem solver.
