Superintendent - Dry Utilities (Various Sites/Nationwide)

Join R-2 Contractors as a Dry Utilities Superintendent to lead underground utility operations across projects nationwide. This role requires a leader who is hungry, humble, and smart, with experience in underground utilities and the ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate complex projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience as an underground utilities laborer
• Minimum 3 years' experience as an operator in the underground utilities industry
• Minimum 3 years' experience as an Underground Foreman
• Minimum 4 years' experience as an Underground Superintendent
• Proven experience with utility-scale underground projects and/or substation work (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of underground utility practices and field execution
• Hands-on experience operating underground utility equipment
• Proven layout knowledge and ability to ensure accurate field execution
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
• Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate complex projects
• Proven track record of building and developing teams
• Strong communication skills with the ability to escalate issues appropriately
• Team-first mindset with a focus on collaboration and shared success
• Self-driven, accountable, and willing to put in the effort required to get the job done
• Willing and able to travel and work extended hours as needed
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and maintain a satisfactory driving record
