The Sewing Machine Operator will operate various sewing machines to join parts of fabricated articles or garments, and monitor the quality of the final item.
Requirements
- Read and interpret work instructions
- Verify fabrics, threads, and parts
- Operate industrial sewing equipment to assemble product
- Monitor machine operation to detect problems such as defective stitching, breaks in thread, or machine malfunctions
- Record Quantities produced
- Inspect Product for defects and mark errors as necessary
- Be willing to cross-train in various manufacturing areas
- Have a good attendance record
