The Sewing Machine Operator Level II or III will operate various sewing machines to join parts of fabricated articles or garments, sewing garments for production and monitoring the quality of the final item.
Requirements
- Read and interpret work instructions.
- Verify fabrics, threads, and parts.
- Operate industrial sewing equipment to assemble product.
- Monitor machine operation to detect problems such as defective stitching, breaks in thread, or machine malfunctions.
- Record Quantities produced.
- Inspect Product for defects and mark errors as necessary.
- Be willing to cross-train in various manufacturing areas.
