RRC - Pipeline Safety Field Inspector IV, Region 1 (Denver City/Post)

The Railroad Commission of Texas is seeking a Pipeline Safety Field Inspector IV to perform technical fieldwork related to pipeline safety operations in the Panhandle area of Texas. The inspector will conduct pipeline safety evaluations and investigations on incidents and accidents, and determine pipeline operators' compliance with applicable natural gas and hazardous liquids pipeline safety rules and regulations.

Requirements

• Extensive overnight travel of 50% or more
• Daily and overnight travel includes completing inspections and investigations, and attending mandatory pipeline safety training
• Performs timely inspections and consistently reports findings
• Must have scheduling flexibility to be on call as needed to respond to emergency situations and conduct incident and accident investigations
