Job Description
The Procurement and Logistics Officer is responsible for operational activities at Raising The Village, including procurement, inventory management, fleet management, asset management, and facilities management. The role involves ensuring timely and within-budget completion of tasks, maintaining accurate records, and providing technical support to staff. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Logistics/Procurement/Business Administration or related field and at least 5 years of experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge and understanding of logistics procedures, policies, and systems;
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office suites;
- Ability to negotiate, establish and administer contracts;
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently;
- Ability to build relationships and work effectively within teams;
- Strong negotiation and organization skills;
- Ability to multi task, work in fast paced environments and meet competing deadlines;
- Ability to travel 40% of the time to RTV field operations.
