Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Healthcare

We invite you to bring your mechanical building services design expertise to our UK Healthcare team, as you contribute to our team delivering sustainable healthcare building projects, both in the UK and overseas. The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for developing resilient, sustainable, adaptable and innovative engineering solutions on our healthcare projects and for supporting the delivery of Ramboll’s engineering advisory and design services through all project stages.

Requirements

• Mechanical building services design expertise
• Experience of the design and construction of healthcare buildings
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven discipline/project leader that drives a high performing, collaborative and inclusive culture
• Educated to a degree level or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline
• MCIBSE, MIMechE or MIHEEM
• Thorough understanding of digital design delivery through Revit/BIM 360
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to run multiple projects of varying size and complexity
• Understanding of project commercial and technical risks
• Excellent communicator capable of explaining complex technical concepts to our clients and project team partners in plain language, verbally and in writing
• Able to motivate and inspire confidence both internally and externally across geographical borders
