Job Description
Join Ramboll as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in our Charlotte, NC office, working on unique and challenging industrial projects, with a focus on HVAC design. Collaborate with experienced and entry-level engineers, and develop innovative, technically sound designs.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or greater
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- 10+ years of experience in engineering and design of HVAC systems
- Experience designing large scale hydronic systems
- Working knowledge of fire protection requirements for industrial facilities, including the IFC, NFPA standards and FM Global guidelines
- Desire to work in chemical, power, and industrial market segment
- Ability to work at industrial facilities gathering data for designs (expect <10% travel)
- Detail oriented individual
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced work environment
