Senior Mechanical Engineer, Energy Systems

Ramboll is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Solutions for Industry group in our Charlotte, NC office. The role involves working across a wide range of mechanical design knowledge areas with a desired focus area in HVAC design of chemical, power, and/or industrial facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or greater.
• Licensed Professional Engineer
• 10+ years of experience in engineering and design of HVAC systems
• Experience designing large scale hydronic systems
• Working knowledge of fire protection requirements for industrial facilities, including the IFC, NFPA standards and FM Global guidelines.
• Desire to work in chemical, power, and industrial market segment.
• Desire and ability to work at industrial facilities gathering data for designs (expect <10% travel).
• Detail oriented individual.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced work environment.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit is preferred.
