Accounts Receivable Associate- Part-Time

The Part-Time Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for processing and monitoring incoming payments, maintaining accurate records, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts. The primary mandate is to ensure outstanding receivables remain within company targets, and that appropriate accounts receivable process and systems are adhered to.

Requirements

• Confirm and communicate receipt of bid deposits and payments
• Perform upload auction transactions and enter accounting adjustments
• Process refunds for overpayments, bid deposits, and tax adjustments
• Generate invoices to bill customers, consignors, and inter-company subsidiaries
• Assist sale sites in collections and reconciling customer accounts
• Notify departments regarding pertinent receivable balances, adjustments, and holdbacks
• Reconcile AR sub-ledger to general ledger
• Assist with month end closing and reporting
• Research and respond to customer inquiries
• Maintain customer account information and files
