The Payroll Analyst manages a broad range of responsibilities, including reporting, analysis, reconciliation, and auditing of payroll across multiple legal entities and countries.
Requirements
- Process biweekly payroll accurately and on time for all employees, ensuring compliance with local, state/provincial, and federal regulations.
- Analyze payroll data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly; update/correct pay data as identified through analysis/audit.
- Participate in internal/external organizational audits related to payroll.
- Follow any new updated guidance on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Update and review standard operating procedures and perform quarterly document reviews related to payroll.
- Independently manage Oracle timecards process including auditing and reporting of timekeeping records, monitoring timely approvals by managers and completing mass submit for payroll processing.
- Process supplemental payrolls for stock, bonuses or ad hoc payments.
- Resolve all payroll discrepancies, process adjustments, manual checks and answer escalated employee and management inquiries, as needed.
- Create HDSL data loads for all payroll elements needed for processing & partner with HRIS for imports.
- Load manual payroll adjustments and review balances for payroll elements.
- Prepare timecard reconciliations to validate timekeeping files balances to payroll processing.
- Partner with payroll leads to audit payroll changes (new hires, terms, salary changes etc.).
- Update and correct pay data as identified through the payroll audit.
- Perform year-end responsibilities as it relates to T4’s/RL1’s, T2200 Forms and any YE amendments.
- Support audit and validation process for supplement compensation payments and work/home location to identify proper state/provincial income tax withholding allocations.
