Job Description
This individual is responsible for maintaining accurate and on-time reports relative to the service department’s operation within the dealership, including handling warranty claims, maintaining service department files and records, and updating customer profiles. Specific duties include maintaining technical and product knowledge, following safety rules and regulations, and conducting self in a professional manner. The Service Advisor will also participate in company-sponsored training, communicate effectively with peers and management, and maintain a positive working relationship with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
Requirements
- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge of service process and procedures
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- General understanding of mechanical/technical terms preferred
- Ability to cover alternate shifts periodically (i.e. 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm)
- Valid work authorization in the U.S. without company sponsorship
