Senior Mechanical Engineer

Re:Build DAPR Engineering, LLC is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support project teams in multiple capacities, including design of mechanical systems and coaching junior team members. The ideal candidate will have a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and 8+ years of experience in design engineering, with strong written and verbal communications, organizational, and time management skills.

Requirements

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university, plus equivalent experience
• Minimum 8 years' experience in a design engineering role with experience in indirectly coaching and guiding junior team members
• Strong written and verbal communications, organizational and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to work and support a team environment
• Familiarity with motion systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, robots, etc.
• Experience user of CAD packages, SolidWorks preferred
• Use of engineering tools such as Mathcad, Ansys, or equivalent FEA packages is a plus
• Experience designing mechanisms for automation, complex electro-mechanical systems, and/or mechanical solutions that require a high level of precision is a plus
• U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
