Sewing Machine Operator

Sewing Machine Operators are responsible for operating various sewing machines within the production process. Sewers are required to perform various tasks to set up, operate, process and monitor production.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.
• Prior experience operating manufacturing, packaging, and process control equipment preferred.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Adapts to changes in the work environment; Manages competing demands; Changes approach or method to best fit the situation; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
