We are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to support the overall Hatchery and maintenance team on site to deliver effective and timely maintenance solutions to the site in with Health & Safety protocols.
Requirements
- A keen interest in farming where animal welfare is of the utmost importance
- Desire to work hands on in a farming environment
- Reliable and flexible
- Passion for learning
- Level 3 qualification in main discipline (for single skilled)
- Level 2 qualification in second discipline (for multi-skilled)
- Literate and numerate
- Ability to think clearly
- Good manual dexterity
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and learn new skills
- Evidence of handyman skills
- Ability to diagnose and solve problems
- Good time organisation skills
- Previous welding, electrical and plumbing experience (desirable)
