Maintenance Engineer

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to support the overall Hatchery and maintenance team on site to deliver effective and timely maintenance solutions to the site in with Health & Safety protocols.

Requirements

• A keen interest in farming where animal welfare is of the utmost importance
• Desire to work hands on in a farming environment
• Reliable and flexible
• Passion for learning
• Level 3 qualification in main discipline (for single skilled)
• Level 2 qualification in second discipline (for multi-skilled)
• Literate and numerate
• Ability to think clearly
• Good manual dexterity
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work on own initiative and learn new skills
• Evidence of handyman skills
• Ability to diagnose and solve problems
• Good time organisation skills
• Previous welding, electrical and plumbing experience (desirable)
