Job Description
Reddit is seeking a highly motivated Principal Data Scientist to drive the strategic application of advanced quantitative methods across their Ads data science team. This role focuses on optimizing Reddit's Ads marketplace through optimization of algorithms, model building, and A/B testing. The ideal candidate will collaborate with multiple teams to define the long-term vision for measurement, prediction, and optimization within Reddit's advertising platform.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in ads marketplace understanding, auctioning, advertising creative evaluation, and measurement at scale.
- Master's or Ph.D. in economics, statistics, computer science, operations research, or related quantitative discipline.
- Advanced proficiency in statistical programming (Python or R) and SQL.
- Strong understanding of experimental design, causal inference, or A/B testing methodologies.
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
