Technical Writer

We are looking for a Technical Writer to join our team at Walmart Global Technology. The role requires a mix of technical aptitude, communication skills, and project management skills to document our product and solutions. You will work among engineers, product designers, and operators in a fast-growing environment.

Requirements

• BA in English, Technical Writing, or a relevant area (Master’s degree in technical communication preferred)
• 5-10 years of experience in technical product documentation
• Proficiency in extracting subject matter expert knowledge and communicating it in a meaningful way
• Experience with consuming and writing API and SDK documentation
• A passion for understanding customers’ needs and delivering world-class content
• Excellent planning, organizational, and execution skills with an ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
• Knowledge of technical writing standards and ability to adhere to a style guide
• A track record of excellent communication and cooperation, preferably in a global and culturally diverse organization
• Excellent writing skills and the ability to make complex topics easy and engaging
