Job Description
Redwood Materials is looking for a Senior Modeling and Architecture Engineer to lead the Energy Storage Modeling and Architecture team. The ideal candidate will have experience leading modeling teams in battery energy storage or electric vehicle space and be a first principle thinker.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Mechanical Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of model development or system engineering experience
- Excellent first-principles physics understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience with hybrid or electric powertrain model development, PV model development, and data analysis in Python or MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
