Design Engineer III

The Design Engineer III position is responsible for executing design engineering initiatives to support existing product lines and improving component costs. The role involves aspects of design engineering, material cost out activities, and project management. The position is a hybrid role based out of Regal Rexnord's Union Grove, Wisconsin facility and requires less than 10% travel.

Requirements

• Improve or optimize component designs considering manufacturability, quality, and cost
• Review and analyze gear drive component failures, identify root cause and implement corrective actions
• Update or maintain engineering documentation including drawings, bills of materials, and technical standards
• Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering regarding product design and manufacturing methods
