Job Description
The Production Supervisor provides hiring, promotion and disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation and feedback for direct reports. Coordinates and supervises the daily manufacturing operations to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Degree in applicable field a plus
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with all levels of management
- Excellent leadership skills including team building, collaboration, consistency, conflict resolution and motivation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Basic computer skills
- Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma problem solving a strong plus
