Job Description
Regent is seeking a Legal Counsel, Technology & Media to support its media and technology businesses on commercial and data-related legal matters. The role will be transactional and business-facing, with a focus on enabling growth while managing legal risk.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience at a large, nationally recognized law firm and/or a well-known technology or media company
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admission to at least one U.S. state bar in good standing
- Experience as a transactional and/or privacy lawyer
- Strong experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
- Familiarity with copyright licensing and legal issues impacting media and technology-driven businesses
- Working knowledge of privacy and data protection laws and commercial data arrangements
