
Job description
The Data Governance Analyst serves as a key resource and intermediary between data owners and consumers at Regions. They maintain connections and competencies in technical, operational, reporting, and analytical data needs. This role requires moderate guidance and involves working with data owners, consumers, and stakeholders to ensure data quality and governance.
Primary responsibilities include measuring and monitoring data quality, designing and executing remediation plans, implementing data quality requirements, and managing data issues. The analyst will also perform user acceptance testing, review results, and report data quality statistics.
This role requires a strong ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, work under moderate guidance, and have day-to-day, hands-on execution. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analytics, data profiling, and transformations, as well as knowledge of data quality issues and ETL processes.
