Job Description
Provides nursing care to patients within scope of professional practice and license, administers medications and treatments, and observes and reports any unusual happenings to Registered Nurse or Physician.
Requirements
- Current State of Hawaii LPN licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Annual completion of CPR and competencies requirements
- Successful completion of the medication test within 3 weeks of the start of orientation
- Completion of a program for licensed practical nursing, or its equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
- Familiarity with standard hospital procedures
- Ability to safely and effectively manage patients’ mobility
