*PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (Outpatient Nuuanu - Full/Part-Time and Call-In)

Physical Therapist Assistant position available at REHAB in Honolulu, Hawaii, providing support for the Therapy Department and assisting with inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services.

Requirements

• Current State of Hawaii PTA licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Completion of competencies and other job-related and REHAB requirements.
• Graduate from a Physical Therapist Assistant curriculum approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA); or if educated outside the United States or trained in the United States military, graduated from an education program determined to be substantially equivalent to Physical Therapist Assistant entry level education in the United States by a credentials evaluation organization approved by the American Physical Therapy Association; and Passed a national examination for Physical Therapist Assistants.
• Ability to safely and effectively manage patients’ mobility.
• Ability to clearly communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to safely provide care to patients.
• Work experience in a healthcare setting in which the applicant has provided direct patient care in a rehabilitation setting.

Benefits

• Wage Range: $26.03/hr to $30.16/hr
