reisetopia is seeking a Software Engineering Lead to guide the technological direction and strategy of its digital products. The role involves leading a top-notch engineering team, fostering innovation, and developing scalable solutions for the suitespot hotel search. This is a full-time, permanent position in Berlin, focused on improving load times, building financial comparison tools, and optimizing the technical architecture.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in full-stack development
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role
• Strong communication skills and team leadership capabilities
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Excellent & proven problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of modern TypeScript programming
• Experience with React, Redux, MongoDB, Postgres, Jest, Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress
• Knowledge in Next.js and frontend libraries
• Experience with WordPress development and serverless functions
• Experience in DevOps tools (GitHub Actions, Ansible, Jenkins, or Docker)
