Operations Manager - Nottingham Sort Centre

Relay is fundamentally reshaping how goods move in an online era. The Operations Manager will own an entire shift at one of our fulfilment sites, leading 50–100+ operatives through high-volume, time-pressured operations.

Requirements

• Proven leadership of large teams (50+) of front line workers in fast-paced, physical operations
• Reasoning ability — thinking through problems methodically
• Resilience — staying calm and decisive during peak periods
• Metrics obsessed — looking at metrics and deciding what to do about them
• Clear, direct communication — brief a team of 80 operatives and present a problem to senior leadership
• Ownership mindset — wanting to help build something meaningful
