Senior Data Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Analytics and Insights team within Technology Infrastructure and Operations (TIO). As a Senior Data Analyst, you will design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards that provide insight into Elsevier’s IT and multi-cloud infrastructure estate and operational performance. You will also explore how GenAI-enabled approaches can enhance insight generation and improve how insights are delivered to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong Tableau expertise, with a portfolio demonstrating high-quality dashboard design and user-centric thinking.
• Experience in a data analytics, BI, or reporting role delivering insights into operational or business performance.
• Proven experience working with large, complex datasets, including data profiling and cleansing.
• Advanced SQL skills for querying large datasets and developing complex reports.
• Experience with relational databases (preferably Snowflake)
• Experience with DBT.
• Familiarity with AWS or equivalent cloud technologies
• Experience using GenAI tools and applying them to analytics workflows (for example, insight generation, narrative drafting, dashboard support, or productivity acceleration)
