Senior Data Analyst II

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards that provide insight into Elsevier's IT and multi-cloud infrastructure estate and operational performance. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will partner with stakeholders across Technology to translate reporting needs into effective, user-centric dashboards.

Requirements

• Strong Tableau expertise, with a portfolio demonstrating high-quality dashboard design and user-centric thinking
• Experience in a data analytics, BI, or reporting role delivering insights into operational or business performance
• Proven experience working with large, complex datasets, including data profiling and cleansing
• Advanced SQL skills for querying large datasets and developing complex reports
• Experience with relational databases (preferably Snowflake)
• Experience with dbt
• Familiarity with AWS or equivalent cloud technologies
• Curiosity and a strong drive to innovate, including experimenting with new techniques and approaches to improve insight quality and delivery
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences at all levels
• Strong written communication skills, including clear documentation of definitions, logic, and dashboard guidance
• Knowledge of Python is a plus.
