Software Engineering Lead

Software Engineering Lead at LexisNexis Risk Solutions, responsible for leading a team of Software Engineers, implementing development processes, and writing code on complex systems and applications.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to partner with and lead internal and external technology resources
• Good knowledge of test-driven development/BDD testing Frameworks Junit, Selenium, Cucumber/Gherkin and industry best practices
• Effective monitoring, alerting and visualisation (Kibana, Elasticsearch)
• Excellent understanding of data modeling principles, data manipulation languages, and storage systems
• Expertise in development languages Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Kafka/SQS and Microservices
• Ability to demonstrate excellent organizational skills when dealing with multiple priorities, and be able to think analytically
• Natural problem solver and able to take a lead in collaborating to resolve issues
