Job Description
At Remitly, we're looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to build systems that earn the trust of high value senders, customers moving large transfers for real estate, education, and other milestones. The role spans customer-facing web and mobile experiences and deep partnership with foundational teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, with experience building and operating systems end-to-end.
- Experience building customer-facing experiences at product scale with TypeScript, React, and native mobile development (iOS/Android, React Native).
- Proficiency in one or more modern backend languages such as Java, Kotlin, Go, or Python, with a record of delivering production-quality code.
- Use AI tools in your own software development workflow.
