We are looking for an experienced Heavy Machinery Mechanic to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of heavy machinery, such as trucks, cranes, excavators, and other large machinery.
Requirements
- Conducting thorough inspections of heavy machinery (trucks, cranes, construction equipment) to identify potential problems.
- Utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to evaluate and locate mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical problems.
- Repairing critical components of the equipment, including engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other critical parts.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, brake service, fluid checks, filter replacement, and lubrication, to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
- Traveling to work sites as needed to provide on-site diagnosis and repairs.
- Working both in the field and in the workshop, depending on job requirements and equipment condition.
- Analyzing and resolving complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems, implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborating with other mechanics or supervisors to resolve difficult or uncommon technical problems.
- Following all safety protocols and industry regulations when working with heavy machinery, tools, and hazardous materials.
- Ensuring that all repairs and maintenance are performed in accordance with safety and environmental standards.
- Maintaining precise records of all repairs, maintenance, parts used, and work performed on each service.
- Providing detailed reports to supervisors and clients on equipment condition, repairs made, and recommendations for future maintenance.
- Using diagnostic tools and repair equipment effectively, keeping them in excellent condition.
- Reporting damaged, missing, or defective equipment to management in a timely manner for replacement or repair.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies, machinery, and diagnostic methods in the heavy machinery industry.
- Participating in relevant training programs, certifications, and workshops to improve skills and knowledge.
