We are seeking a Heavy Machinery Mechanic with experience to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of heavy machinery, including trucks, cranes, excavators, and other large equipment.
Requirements
- Conduct thorough inspections of heavy machinery (trucks, cranes, construction equipment) to identify potential problems.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to evaluate and locate mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical issues.
- Repair main components of equipment, including engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other critical parts.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, brake service, fluid checks, filter replacements, and lubrication, to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
- Travel to work sites as needed to provide on-site diagnosis and repairs.
- Analyze and resolve complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems, implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with other mechanics or supervisors to resolve difficult or uncommon technical problems.
- Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations when working with heavy machinery, tools, and hazardous materials.
- Ensure that all repairs and maintenance are performed in accordance with safety and environmental standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance, parts used, and work performed in each service.
- Provide detailed reports to supervisors and clients on equipment condition, repairs performed, and recommendations for future maintenance.
- Use diagnostic tools and repair equipment effectively, keeping them in excellent condition.
- Notify management promptly of damaged, missing, or defective equipment for replacement or repair.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, equipment, and diagnostic methods in the heavy machinery industry.
- Participate in training programs, certifications, and relevant workshops to improve skills and knowledge.
