Managing Counsel, Commercial - Partnerships

Remote is seeking a seasoned and business-oriented commercial lawyer to join their team as Managing Counsel, Commercial - Partnerships. The role will involve providing legal support for global partnership deals, embedded services, and channel/resell agreements, and working closely with cross-functional teams to structure and review partnership agreements. The ideal candidate will have expertise in commercial transactions, particularly enterprise-level SaaS agreements and global sales support, and strong negotiation skills with the ability to develop creative, practical solutions for complex commercial and business challenges.

Requirements

• Partnership and embedded/reseller/channel agreement experience
• Expertise in commercial transactions, particularly enterprise-level SaaS agreements and global sales support
• Prior HR Tech industry experience or familiarity with bespoke HR services agreements
• Solid commercial drafting skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Sharp commercial instincts and strategic thinking
• Strong working knowledge of data protection laws, especially GDPR
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A healthy dose of humor and humility
