The HR Generalist provides support to a designated business unit to define and execute HR strategies that enable the accomplishment of business objectives. The role involves supporting the administration of strategies, programs, policies, and processes as well as employee engagement, performance management, and onboarding.
Requirements
- Provides guidance and coaching to managers and employees on the interpretation of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines and other Human Resources programs.
- Plans, prepares documents and conducts HR related functions as part of the entire employee life cycle that fosters positive employee relations.
- Proactively addresses employee concerns and coaches managers to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Ensures proper maintenance of confidential employee information and employee records.
- Analyzes, interprets, and reports on data such as turnover and engagement.
- Leads and assists with special projects and research on topics related to the effective and efficient use of human resources initiatives within the business.
