The Payroll Supervisor is responsible for monitoring all tasks and initiatives necessary to accomplish the organization’s payroll processing objectives, supervising the payroll staff, and maintaining data integrity to ensure timely and accurate preparation and processing of payroll.
Requirements
- Exhibits an in-depth knowledge of complex payroll processes
- Holds knowledge of union collective bargaining agreements
- Assumes responsibility for employee and operational payroll escalations
- Tracks metrics and KPIs to evaluate payroll and data performance
- Provides technical expertise to payroll analysts and processors
- Ensures creation of complex ad-hoc reports
- Supports development of sustainable training programs
- Leads and organizes process improvement projects
